Round 1 of the Junior Scotland Championship - Kinloss 2024

What a place, Thursday AND Friday saw the everlasting trip up north to Kinloss for the first round of the Junior Rally Scotland championship!! We got scrutineered and had a quick bike round the stage (against the wind) on Friday night before getting parked up for another night in the newly acquired race lorry.

 

Saturday saw our debut run not only at Kinloss but also in the Scottish Championship. Ss1 was over cautious due to the standing water and the lack of knowledge around the venue. Ss2,3,and 4 were all gaining pace and experience in the horrendous conditions. Finally Ss5 was a clean and swift run to give us 2nd in the juniors and 2nd in the Junior 1000 Ecosse Challenge Championship.

Now for the long trip homeward bound, get me back to Yorkshire
