Cadwell, a day of mixed feelings for us, Ss1 was a brilliant run setting fastest stage time, Ss2 was a repeat until I got slightly over ambitious and braked slightly too late into the 90 right to the flying finish, I threw it in and hoped for the best, sadly we got stuck on a lorry tyre on the grass, a massive thank you to Andy Fletch and the other Marshall’s that helped me and Ian lift the car off of the tyre!! This cost us somewhere in the region of 2 to 2 and a half minutes.
Unfortunately, that was the end of us having a good result having lost so much time. The afternoon stages were spent trying to claw back some of the lost time, of which a decent amount was retrieved back, giving us 6th overall which I am happy with.
