It has been established that the van spent its life as a milk delivery van around the Battlefields in Shrewsbury. According to the previous owner, it was taken into a part exchange by himself into his garage some 45 years ago. It remained at the back of his workshop until the property was sold for development. The van was taken to auction in Shrewsbury where it was bought by the current owner. The van has undergone a complete restoration. When refurbishment started it only had the driver's seat in the front, as a tray in the passenger side was used for delivery paperwork. In the van amongst the 'rubbish' was a 1936 sixpence and a milk bottle from 'Bank Farm' Shrewsbury.
