At the age of 15 Robert Phillip paid £5 for a A35 van, in which he learnt to drive on his farm tracks and field near skipton. 52 years later he bough this one at Mathewsons sale last September, knowing at the time that he had terminal cancer, but realised his long held dream to own another. He had it lettered to promote his business selling beef from his own Highland cattle. He managed to make a few deliveries and collections with it before he could no longer drive, and loved every minute.
