The vendor has provided the following:

Supplied new by Henleys Jaguar Chester to MR Denny of Bagillt, CH6 on the 1st January 1969 then purchased by Mr Vinvent Griffiths on 17th March 1977 only 2 owners from new and in his ownership till 2023 showing 64,000 miles, but according to a letter from Mr Griffths due to a broken speedo cable see old MOT will have only covered a maximum of 66,000 miles in total see letter in file. Purchased at Mathewson's sale in September 2023 the purchaser could see great potential in a very original 2-owner low mileage example.

Only marginal surface rust and very sound and original with excellent shut lines, a good interior with excellent headlining, carpets/wood, etc needed attention with age.

It was decided to refurbish the interior as near as it left the factory, when stripped all wood was renovated and lacquered, the carpets furflex was renewed as required, floor pan was repainted and soundproofed as necessary see photos enclosed. Boot stripped out, re-painted, re-trimmed, original tool kit see photos. Seals and rubbers replaced, fully detailed engine bay. Poor chrome replaced, both bottom halves re-painted to a high standard, and original ACE number plates refurbished.
