The vendor has confirmed that this vehicle started life as a FHC (Fixed Head Coupe) and was converted to a DHC (Drop Head Coupe) in the early 1970s.
The vendor has provided the following:
- 73 Elan Sprint DHC gold leaf colors
- Lotus galvanised chassis
- Complete documented professional body restoration by SMS Resprays
- New windscreen
- All new rubber seals
- New steering rack
- New brake servo
- Professional engine rebuild 13000 miles ago
- Mick Miller solid driveshafts
- Lots of work carried out in the last few years. Have owned the car for 12 years. Extensive history file. Selling as space is a problem and my physical movement and age hinder use of the car. Has been a fun car to own and use
- In the early 70s, the vehicle was converted to Drop Head Coupe.
- Electronic ignition, alternator and a new electric fan.
