Current V5 present. Paperwork includes printed photographs of restoration, service invoices, MOT certificates, previous Insurance documents, a 1994 Lotus Club valuation certificate, invoices for parts and work, and a Lotus parts illustration booklet.

The vendor has confirmed that this vehicle started life as a FHC (Fixed Head Coupe) and was converted to a DHC (Drop Head Coupe) in the early 1970s.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • 73 Elan Sprint DHC gold leaf colors
  • Lotus galvanised chassis
  • Complete documented professional body restoration by SMS Resprays
  • New windscreen
  • All new rubber seals
  • New steering rack
  • New brake servo
  • Professional engine rebuild 13000 miles ago
  • Mick Miller solid driveshafts
  • Lots of work carried out in the last few years. Have owned the car for 12 years. Extensive history file. Selling as space is a problem and my physical movement and age hinder use of the car. Has been a fun car to own and use
  • In the early 70s, the vehicle was converted to Drop Head Coupe.
  • Electronic ignition, alternator and a new electric fan.
