VRM and VIN Category C Insurance Loss. Vehicle Extensively Damaged But Repairable -Insurer Decided Not To Repair MAZDA MX5 ARIZO 17/11/2012

The vendor has provided the following:

Mazda MX-5, 1.8, Mk 2.5, Special Edition Arizona in Blaze Yellow.

Low mileage (59,000). Service history (including book), healthy engine and transmission (manual), and recent cambelt and water pump change (June 2023). Previously changed in 2015 at 47,000 miles.

Two keys are present, plus a remote. Both front lower wings and rear wheel arches to sill sections were replaced and wax oiled in 2017. She has a stainless steel 'Zunsport' sports grille, and front fog lights were added in 2015. She has a tonneau cover.

She drives beautifully; we bought her in 2015, and have had no problems to date. This car was flagged as a Cat C write-off in 2012 (Autotrader Vehicle Check Report included). The previous owner was a respected local bodyshop owner.

Bad points: alloys a bit corroded; driver's heated seat no longer working; very slight corrosion on the edge of the bonnet; the roof is watertight but has some stained areas due to having been kept outside.

MOT to May 2025, with some advisories on the last issue. The only reason we are selling her is that we do not have a garage, and she now needs a forever home where she will be restored and cherished.
