Current V5 present. Paperwork includes various MOT certificates, handwritten information, Club Lotus Directory, numerous invoices for parts and work.

The vendor has provided the following:

I purchased the car on 10/01/06 from its previous owner who was emigrating. He told me it was purchased by him on 07/04/85. He drove the car for about 4-6 weeks and then parked it because his wife refused to drive it or even go in it.

It stayed in dry storage covered up until I purchased it from him. I trailered the car to Richard Winter at Europa Engineering in Banks near Southport with the instructions to him to get the car back on the road. There is a list of most of the parts used in the job, part hand written and part typed along with the costings as supplied by him. I got the car back from him about 26/10/07 with 72675 miles on the clock and a 12-month ticket.

There are some old receipts given to me by the previous owner and some old test certificates.

I only used the car on the occasional day as work allowed so I did not put much mileage on it.

In 2016 ill health made me park it up, again as the previous owner had done in dry storage and under cover.

The car was re-sprayed and re-vamped inside during 2018. Since then the car has been garaged and used very little as my health allowed.

It is registered as a historic vehicle so currently vehicle excise duty is free.

As it is fifty years old it does not require a test certificate, but for my piece of mind it has had a valid test certificate put on it which expires 20/06/25

It is a head turner and lovely looking car and always puts a smile on my face when I drive it. When parked up it does draw attention. Had it not been for my bad health I would not be selling the car.

To the new owner. Please remember she is 50 years old and no spring chicken so tender loving care will be called for as you get older together.

I have never had the choke cable attached.

TO START Pump accelerator pedal 3 times and then hold the pedal about halfway down and turn the key. The handbrake leaves a bit to be desired.
