This vehicle had been off the road since 1971 and was found in a very poor state langquising in the back of a barn in 2016. The initial restoration was performed over several years by a father and son team near Manchester. There are 70 pictures of the restoration and a file containing every invoice.
I purchased the vehicle as an unfinished project early 2022 and completed the restoration which was mainly cosmetic with various parts miossing, hood, carpets, side screens, hib caps, wing mirrors etc. Fitted badge bar, badges, spot lights (wired through relay). Fitted seatbelts. Wood rim steering wheel, treadplates, wind wings, luggage rack. New fuel sender fitted and wired to light next to choke. Fitted fire extinguisher, constructed storage bags and side screens.
Everything works and it runs fine, not concours but a very usable classic which gets admired wherever it goes.
