The car I believe is a 3.5 litre 6 cylinder 25 HP Crested Eagle. I believe the chassis was made in 1937 and originally carried a Charlesworth body, this was replaced in 1939 by the current close coupled limousine by Mayfair, it was dispatched to Messrs. Parker LTD of Manchester on the 11th March 1939. The registration it carries dates from 1945 (GYH 715) What happened to it in the war years I don’t know. Engine number is 14994 and Car number is 19996.

It is believed 7 Alvis carried these bodies, I think 4 exist and it is thought that 3 were destroyed in the factory when |Coventry was blitzed.
