The vendor has provided the following:
This car was purchased from Bridge End Garage, Cardigan in May 1954 and used by its owner for 30 years. It was then stored for 4 years and sold again in 1988 when it underwent welding repairs to doors and sills and a respray. The car was then shown at various events until 1996 when it was offered to the Motor Museum in Keeston, it remained there until 2001.
It was originally registered with the license plate DEJ 583, but the owner sold this plate to finance the restoration works, and then it was registered as ADE 231 A. The car changed hands again in 2002 and the next owner carried out a full overhaul on the engine, along with various other works.
Again the registration plate was sold to finance this work and the car was registered again as 163 UXC.
The car was sold again to the present owner in 2005 and has been kept garaged since then and rarely used apart from occasional shows and weddings. The brakes and hydraulics were fully overhauled in Agust 2022 for the car to be used at the owner's daughter's wedding.
Unfortunately during this work, the front of both sills were crushed from improper lifting.
The car is still very original.
There is also a box of spare parts and various documentation and history notes in the boot.
A complete and fully original 'tin top' early ZA. The original engine was fully rebuilt. The brakes and hydraulics were all renewed recently. Minor restoration in the past, some welding and repsray which is all documented with bills and photos.
