The vendor of this 2001 Audi TT Quattro is the Bangers & Cash Restoring Classics team. They write:
The Mk1 TT is the definition of a modern classic.
An uber-punchy 1.8 turbocharged engine, ice-beating Quattro system all wrapped in a body-shell that would argue its corner in any motoring hall of fame. Find one without mega miles and you’d be in the money….we couldn’t believe our eyes when the odometer read just 15k!
To be honest…it was more or less perfect. We’ve been known to pick up a car at auction for what we deem a bargain, and then once it’s on the ramp we hear the sound of money leaving our bank account. Not with this one…
We took the car to Audi specialists ‘Halifax Auto Tech’ who were taken aback by its condition. Underneath it resembled a car that’s 2-3 years old - not 22-23 years old.
Whilst under our possession the car has been given a service and health check. We’ve also treated it to a ‘like new detail’, where it’s been polished within an inch of its life and then had a ceramic coating to protect it. It has a MOT good through September 2024.
The car has been filmed for an upcoming series of Bangers & Cash: Restoring Classics and has been fought over by every member of our team ‘who just need to pop out for some milk’.
Please Note: We take great pride in restoring our vehicles but they are classics and will no doubt have imperfections. Please do your own checks before bidding.
