Current V5 present. Paperwork includes previous V5s, old tax discs, MOT certificates, owner manuals, maintenance manuals, a photo album, and various invoices for work carried out.
The vendor has provided the following:
The first owner purchased the vehicle for £190. The car remained with this owner until I bought it from his widow in about 1970 and it required considerable restoration.
I started the restoration in the early 70s but after only completing the mechanical work and rebuilding the chassis, due to business commitments, no further work was carried out until 1996. A good friend put me in touch with someone who did a massive amount of work in rebuilding and refitting the body on its chassis. He recellulosed and completed all the bodywork, and virtually finished the car as it is now. All that was left to do was tidy up the interior: replace the carpets and headlining and have the leather seats repaired.
