Category C Insurance Loss. Vehicle Extensively Damaged But Repairable -Insurer Decided Not To Repair RELIANT SCIMITAR 22/12/2005

The vendor has provided the following:

Recent MOT
Suspension re-bushed with poly bushes after being noted as an advisory (ex
Graham Walker)
Runs well with good oil pressure and temperature
Hood in good usable condition with a clear screen
Good nearly new tyres on 16-inch alloys
Brakes overhauled
The car had a light knock on the front nearside corner and as no repair panels
were made for the GTC at the time the insurance company settled with the
previous owner as beyond economic repair. The owner kept the car with the
the intention of repairing it, but was left in a barn for many years as the owner
suffered poor health.
The car was rescued and recommissioned over two years with all damage cut
out and repair panels inserted.
The whole car was then taken back to Gelcoat to remove vapour blisters, and
sprayed with 2 coats of epoxy primer and 2 coats of Scimitar red 2 pack.
Although shiny the finish looks heavy and would require remedial work
