The vendor of this 1972 Fiat 500L is the Bangers & Cash Restoring Classics team. They write:

We bought this little pocket rocket (well, pocket blimp might be more accurate) from Mathewsons auctions in July 2024. We were drawn to it as soon as we heard it had successfully driven the 30-odd miles to the auction from Guisborough. A car that drives in is a big tick in our book.

We took it home for the healthy sum of £6300 and it traveled down with us to Italian car supremos ‘Alficina’. We spent the day with them prodding and poking…and it even had a whirl on their rolling road where its 650cc engine hit double figures for horsepower!

The previous owner said (this has not been verified by us): that the RHD Fiat 500L has undergone a full brake overhaul as well as a full electrical overhaul. Black interior. 650cc engine and synchromesh gearbox. This is a stalled restoration that requires finishing off but can be enjoyed in the meantime.

Unfortunately, the bodywork on this one was a little too much for our production schedule to take on. So we’re making the tough decision to sell it on as we bought it.
