Engine Size (cc): 325
Year of Manufacture: 1978
Date First Registered: 16/07/1982
Current V5: YES
Location: PICKERING

Current V5 present, paperwork includes a sheet of information from the vendor.

The vendor has provided the following:

The Bultaco Sherpa was the trials machine of the 1970s in 250 and 325 form.

This particular machine has been with the present owner many years and in that time has been completely renovated with little use since.

The machine was not registered for the road until 1982. 1982 was at a time before the DVLA 'age related' and 'Q' registration checmes started, therefore the machine was allocated an 'X' suffix number.

The cylinder barrel is on the first oversize.

The machine has several modifications that were fairly usual for the period:

  • Electronic ignition
  • A smooth alloy bash plate replaced the under engine frame tubes.
  • A better quality Mikuni carburetor is fitted
  • The swinging arm is reinforced along the top edge to resist bending and twisting
  • Modern stronger footrests have been fitted.
  • The hubs have had liners fitted and wheels re-built with stainless spokes.
  • New front springs are fitted
  • New rear shocks.
