The vendor has provided the following:
Gus won the lottery entry for the Channel Tunnel inauguration London to Paris rally. The first train through the tunnel was loaded with 100 cars from 100 years of manufacturing. The front car contained Queen Elizabeth and the president of France. Gus represented the year 1972. Before the start there was a dinner at the Royal Automobile Club in London and after the run was a banquet in the Elyse Palace in Paris. The rally plaque comes with the car.
Gus was also involved with the opening of the Skye bridge where a top-down run across the bridge was given to Michael Forsythe, the Scottish secretary.
