The vendor has provided the following:

EXX137 was first registered on the 15th of March 1938. This Austin Cambridge has been with its last owner for four years and has been driven on a regular basis. This car was bought from the previous owner who was from North Yorkshire and that owner did the restoration, photo album of the restoration comes with the car. During four years of ownership, the Austin proved to be totally reliable and performed faultlessly over many miles. The Austin is a real user, ready to drive anywhere with proven reliability. I have recently had issues with starting but after replacing the battery and condenser the car is driving fine with an oil pressure that settles nicely. When I purchased the car there was an issue with the third gear jumping out sad to say I have not remedied this but the car does come with a spare gearbox, but not sure if the gearbox is usable. The car also comes with three unused tyres that are still in its packaging.

The dark Blue over Black paint has a good although there is a few blemishes appearing even though the car is garaged with a cover over it. Also, the bottoms of the doors are starting to separate at the skins.

The upholstery is clean, tidy, and likely to have been re-trimmed 15 years ago. The seats are smart with no rips or tears, the door cards are clean and the carpets and dashboard are smart. The Speedo can be faulty sometimes but with a tap on the clock it works, sadly the fuel gauge is stuck at 1/4.

This Austin is an ideal start to pre-war motoring and is both easy and great fun to drive.

Needs a little love. Mileage is debatable after nearly 90 years. Taken to a car show in Ushaw in Durham a round trip of 50 miles with no issues.
