The vendor has provided the following:

This 1988 Honda CBR600-F was bought by the Bangers & Cash: Restoring Classics team from our auction in December 2022. They write:

At Restoring Classics we’d spent many an auction trying to find a super-early superbike that hadn’t been pranged, nicked or pimped.

The CBR 600 was perfect!

A motorcycle that changed the world when it arrived in the late 80s. Its jelly-mould fairings covering a steel frame housing an inline 4 engine that would make the once invincible Kawasaki GPZ seem so last year.

We bought the CBR for too much money (or so we’ve been told!). However, that still didn’t stop us from treating it to a thorough overhaul with Japanese bike guru Lorna Winstanley of Lancashire.

Not only has it had a loving recommission, it also boasts a fresh MOT until the end of June 2024 and has less than 36,000 miles on the clock.

Our refreshed CBR has been ridden by a Restoring Classics crew member who described it as well-balanced and free-revving.
