THE VENDOR HAS ADDED THE FOLLOWING; Rare 1962 Royal Enfield 250cc super 5 dispatched from the factory on 18/4/1962 to small of Winchester. Original engine frame and Registration number, as confirmed by the owners club document. Previously owned and restored by author and motorcycle journalist/test rider Roy Poynting, who wrote great articles about it in the classic motorcycle magazine at the time. The restoration was a good while ago, it was discovered that the original color was Peacock Blue. The notoriously unreliable 5-speed gearbox had been replaced with a four-speed long ago as most ones have.
