The vendor has provided the following:

  • 1972 Jaguar E-Type Mk3 5.2L V12
  • Two owners, current owner purchased the vehicle in 1973
  • The car was run as the primary vehicle in the late 70's through early 80's then garaged as used sparingly for enjoyment in drive weather
  • An engine rebuild was completed 2010
  • Full service at Trevor Farrington completed in 2023, breakdown of service items: - new fuel tank, new radiator, reconditioned steering rack, cam gasket covers, new tyres, door & bonnet seals, nearside track rod end, nearside top ball joint and front suspension joint rubbers, replacement O-ring & seal, oil sump gasket & filter, replaced big end bearing screws.
  • Wear on timing chain was identified and recommendation for this to be replaced and check timing chain guide alignment is correct. This work has yet to be completed.
