The engine in the XR2 is a 1.6 cvh engine which was used in the fiestas and escorts at the time . so the engine mounts would be the same if its been replaced. The rocker cover is most probably off an xr3i . When we had the car it had the valve seals and valve stem seals replaced, it had compression tests on the cylinders which were all good. Also we put 4 refurbished pepper pots on with new tyres. Other than that car is how it was when we bought it three years ago
