This 1955 first saw service with the British army in the Rhine, Germany, and was sold into civilian life in Germany in 1966.
This champ has had £8,748 spent in mechanical restoration alone between 2023 & 2024 including a new fuel tank with ethanol-proof pipes works on the drivetrain, brakes, steering, and a service (A copy of the purchase receipt from August 2022 for £13,000 restoration work above is since then) now it just needs a new owner to use and enjoy.
Champs are fitted with a fully synchromesh gearbox with 5 gears forward and by pulling the transfer lever 5 gears forward. So, if you're good at steering backward you can drive at full speed in reverse!
Despite being MOT and tax-exempt the champ has aN MOT until 2025 with no advisories. The champ has also had an electric fuel pump and battery isolator switch. The hood and frame are in good order.
