Current V5 present. Paperwork includes 3 folders with MOT certificates, a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate, a tax confirmation, a previous new keeper slip, invoices for parts and works, printed diagrams, and photographs.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • There is a photographic record of this restoration between 1991 and 1994
  • The MGB GT was launched in October 1965 - so this 1966 model is one of the very early models to roll off the production line
  • It has a four-speed gearbox with a fully functioning manual overdrive
  • The knock-on wire wheels are in very good condition and the tyres are as new the spare is also a brand-new wire wheel and matching tyre
  • It has had an unleaded cylinder head conversion
  • When it was finished off it was used as a show car for several years
  • Only selling due to ill health
