The vendor has provided the following:
Coming to auction after 32 years of happy motoring is my 1987 3.6 straight six Manual Coupe. Only for sale due to downsizing my house and won’t have enough garaging. The cherished number D 321 Day (D-Day) stays with the car.
Originally registered to the JAGUAR dealership (Blisset and Drew), I acquired this lovely vehicle in 1991.
Full pack of Owners Manuals included including the first 3 services with Wadham Stringer.
Included is a Chrome Leaper Jaguar which I intended to fit but didn’t have the heart to drill the bonnet!
The car was in fully running order when I put it away for storage. Been garaged for the last 32 years with woollen blankets right the way over it and down the sides. It's been treated like a baby as I have no children. This cherished car is now available for a caring new owner who will love the car as much as I have.
It's never been put away wet without being dried off.
Apart from Blisset and Drew ( the Jaguar dealership) , I have been the only driver. Once a week I made a journey through the New Forest to watch a friend of mine play in a band. Each way was 35 miles so the car got thoroughly warmed through. In my ownership no one has ever sat in the back seats and only occasionally my brother Michael who came with me.
I have a number of other vehicles for short journeys and around town jobs.
We have just put a new Clutch slave cylinder on and bled the system but we ran out of time so it still needs a bit more bleeding.
Engine manually turned over and is completely free. Not started as the 25 year old oil is still inside and there is no battery. I have complete confidence that with fresh oil and filter and a new battery, the car will start straight up.
