Paperwork includes a Daimler wallet containing Owner's Manuals, scanned copy of a Certificate of Entitlement, DVLA receipt for private registration, a Total Care Handbook containing 17 stamps, a V11 tax reminder, MOT certificates, a purchase receipt, printed service history, DVLA correspondence, and various invoices for parts and work.

Daimler Super V8 LWB four seat saloon was new to Lloyds TSB, Harrogate, in March 2000. It was chauffeur driven and regularly serviced by Gatwick Jaguar throughout their three year ownership.

I purchased it from a fellow JEC member on 27/07/15 - showing 126,250 miles. Today, the car now shows 129,283 miles - Just 3033 miles in 9 years!

Hardly used since 2019, due to Covid lockdowns and my deteriorating health, this rare survivor of the Daimler XJ 308 model now needs to be settled driven regularly, and enjoyed by another enthusiast. It will be 25 in 2025!

The 4-litre supercharged engine - 370 BHP new - is coupled (as standard) to a 5-speed Mercedes Benz automatic transmission and gives a very smooth ride - still with plenty of power reserve, whenever it may be required!

The exterior features gleaming 'Platinum' metallic paint with black coach lines. The bodywork has some corrosion with three blemishes (1) on the sunroof leading edge (2) on the o/s/r wing edge and (3) at the front of the offside sill. The chrome is unmarked. All of the five original fitments 17" Solar Wheels have been refurbished. The NSR tyre has done little mileage compared to the others

The luxurious four-seat interior features Ivory leather 'ruched' trim with contrasting Sable piping, together with D monogrammed headrests, all of which - including the driver bolster - are unmarked. As are the Burr Walnut fittings and rear fold-up picnic tables. To protect the beige carpets from scuff marks these are now covered by closely fitted heavy-duty rubber mats. Importantly, the previous owner had a new roof lining fitted upon his purchase in 2014.

The car benefits from Brand New battery (£90), two new fuel pumps and air conditioning system re-gassing etc together costing £1,105 in June 2021. However, both door mirrors do need attention.
