The vendor has provided the following:
- Year 2000 Daimler XJ8(X308)
- Long wheelbase
- I've owned the car for 7 years, during which time it has always been garaged.
- MOT until 23/09/2025.
- I am selling it because now my teenage son has a car, and we don't have room
- I have the usual thick portfolio of bills and receipts which detail the history of the maintenance and repairs that have been undertaken over the years.
- The bodywork was 'done' in 2022 (when I gave the body shop free rein to chase and remove all the rust)
- The car drives - engine, gearbox, and general mechanicals appear excellent to me
- There are a few issues with ancillary items (e.g. heated screen no longer works, contact on remote keyfob must be worn, so take a few tries, folding wing mirrors are a bit creaky ! - etc.) which I'm happy to list in full, for transparency
- Special number plate included in the sale
