The vendor has supplied the following:
Current owner since 1992, bought from an old boy in Shrewsbury who was the 2nd owner and he bought the Rpier in September 1977 as the second owner. As 3rd owner, I used the vehicle as a daily for 2 years, then in 1994 commenced work to repair rotten sills, floorplans and valences. Previous owner has the last two steel front wings remaining from RJ Grimes.
Then used sporadically and in 1998 went into long-term dry storage, and I then recommissioned in March 2017 with a full comprehensive mechanical restoration. I was planning to keep this H120 for many years to come, but circumstances has unfortunately changed and so must find a new custodian.
With as full Holbay engine rebuild, no expense spared to replace/renew, with most parts from Speedy Spares; Carbs, Radiator re-cored, Dizzy, Water Pump, Viscous Fan sourced, Finned Alloy sump, Front struts, front springs, front spax inserts, rear koni shocks (rare)/dampers, rear wheel brake cylinders, rear drums, new shoes, new ball joints, track rod ends, steering swivel, Yuasi Battery, Exhaust manifold (new, found autojumble in 90's), Top/bottom Water hoses, Aldon Auto electronic ignition, flame thrower black coil, Powerlite starter, reconditioned brake calipers, x3 brake hoses (braided) Front struts, clutch release bearing, Alternator Lucas 15/17 ACR, Rad cap, Heater matrix bypass hose, Front wheel bearings & oil seals, Filters - oil/water/air/fuel, Fuel Pump (NOS with lever), Brake master cyclinder, Clutch master cylinder, Clutch slave cylinder, Engine rubber mounts, Front brake discs, brake pads, Clutch pipe fabricated, Clutch plate/cover, Engine piston rings, Oil pressure switch, Temperature sender, Fan belt, Weber DCOE rubber rings, Alternator bracket, x2 upper bearing Strut mounts, Drop link rubbers, Front shock gaitors, Spark plugs, 4x tyres, Dunlop alloys, front brake backplates, plus many sundries.
Some cosmetic work/carpets needs finishing, so I am leaving that to the new custodian.
As the owner for 31 years, 'Betsy' as known by previous owner has looked after me, taking me to a number of European tours.
