The vendor has provided the following:
A rare example of this model - displays Monaco 2.0 IDE badges on both front wings and Karmann badges on both rear panels. The current lady owner bought the car in March 2019 with 33,000 miles on the clock. Before this, it had had two previous owners. According to the garage it was purchased from, it was bought by an old gentleman who owned it and kept it in dry storage for 11 years until he passed away. It was inherited by his daughter who hardly drove it and also kept it in storage until 2018.
The vehicle is fitted with original equipment including electrical aerial, sunroof, windows, door mirrors, and door locks; radio, cassette player, and Renault Alpine 6-disc CD changer (in boot); leather interior (refurbished by Trimline Services in October 2019); full set of alloys. Regularly serviced and maintained, it has been fitted with a fuel pressure regulator in February 2024, two rear part-worn tyres in February 2024, a new Banner Starting Bull battery in March 2024 plus other repairs and maintenance has been undertaken as required since the current owner purchased the car in March 2019. The original manuals plus a folder containing all documents and receipts for work carried out will be handed over with the vehicle.
The vehicle's MOT is valid until March 2025 (the 'maintenance' folder holds previous certificates/test details dating back to 2006). It does need some attention - a small scratch on the nearside front bumper and some minor stone chipping, the electric sunroof currently not working (only recently discovered when preparing to put it up for sale as was working perfectly in October last year), and engine management light illuminate intermittently but otherwise the car is in very good condition. It has been driven almost daily since purchase; a bereavement forces sale.
