The vendor of this 1954 Ferguson Ted 20 is the Bangers & Cash Restoring Classics team. They write:
We’ve featured a large variety of cars and bikes on the programme, but considering we were on the doorstep of great Yorkshire farmland, we felt we needed to add a classic tractor into the mix. So in October 2023, when Paul Mathewson pointed us towards a little grey Fergie - the seed was planted and the time has come for us to reap the rewards at auction!
We didn’t need to travel far for this restoration - in fact we found Rob Leng only 5 miles up the road in the next village of Cropton.
Rob has worked his magic and work included:
Full strip down in order to sandblast the chassis
Painted chassis, wheels and dash console
New mudguards, side bonnet panels and grill surround
New wheel nuts
New seat pan (with cushion!)
4x new spark plugs and HT leads
Distributor has been ‘de-gunked’ and cleaned
Please Note: We take great pride in restoring our vehicles but they are classics and will no doubt have imperfections. Please do your own checks before bidding.
