The vendor has provided the following:

1986 Citroen Visa GT Tonic

1 of 500 made. Built for the Portuguese Market to celebrate their victories in their National Rally championship

The car has received a substantial amount of work and upgrades:

  • Engine built in homage to Group N/B Rally standards
  • 3000miles on this engine. The original mileage of the car is unknown
  • Fully soda-blasted block
  • Rebuilt gearbox
  • New Clutch
  • AX diesel crank and flywheel lightened and balanced
  • Saxo roads and pistons
  • Uprated camshaft
  • NOS 8 port head fitted (holy grail part for these engines)
  • Twin 40 Webers
  • Uprated fuel pump
  • Solid state distributor
  • NOS stock 120mpg speedo gauge in MPH/ KMH
  • Water and oil A post-mounted gauges
  • Evans waterless coolant
  • Upgraded front brakes- MG Metro Turbo calipers with carrier brackets etc
  • Rear coil overs fitted
  • Samba rally exhaust and bespoke down pipe made
  • Dyno'd at 135bhp by Northampton Motorsport
  • The car was repainted years ago, holding up well. The car was fully wax-oiled at the time
  • Door cards and seats retrimmed
  • Luisi steering wheel
  • The original LHD Dash was removed due to sun damage as to be expected in hot climates. Car converted to RHD by Citroen specialist using genuine Citroen parts
  • Graphics on the car are part of the history of the vehicle
  • The car was previously owned by the chairman of a large Classic Car Club in Portugal
  • Easily removed if not wanted by the new owner
