Current V5 present. Paperwork includes a large history file containing some printed history about the vehicle, an Owner's Club rosette, some specification information, some printed information regarding the Carburettors, Cooling kit information, DVLA owner history, MOT certificates, previous V5s, a Number Plate Authorisation Certificate, V11 tax reminders, some old tax discs, and various invoices.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • Older Restoration 1992/3, no rust and fully wax oiled, body coloured underneath
  • Chrome wire wheels with Pirelli Cinturato tyres and chrome spare
  • Wooden Motolita steering wheel, walnut dash and door cappings, mohair hood and wind stop, leather seats, bonnet gar struts, stainless fittings
  • Radio/10 CD player can be operated from the steering wheel
  • 1950cc engine with Peter Burgess fast road head, 1 3/4 SU's with K & N pankake filters
  • Lumination electronic ignition
  • Full sports stainless exhaust system, 12V battery conversion
  • In 2016, the car went to Vittesse of Hinkley and undertook gearbox conversion at great expense, being fitted with a brand new Mazda MX-5 five-speed gearbox, bell housing and prop shaft
  • There is an accompanying file showing a comprehensive history of the car's life, owners, work done, and MOTs going back to 1984, giving you an idea of the thousands spent maintaining this car
  • The car is MOT'd until July with no advisories, it is insured with Lancaster's agreed value of £16,000
  • I have owned the car since 2019 and have had it serviced and maintained at Mechspec MG Centre
  • Regretfully selling to finance an unforeseen family situation

Welcome to our April Auction!

Prospective buyers are encouraged to view specific lots pre-auction and inspect paperwork if available.

We actively support a number of charitable organisations here at Mathewsons, amongst them being the fantastic 'Yorkshire Air Ambulance' (Charity No 1084305).
The entry fee is £5 per person during the viewing periods at our Pickering branch. 
This forms part of our annual fundraising to help these wonderful organisations operate.
 
Each auction throughout the year will witness a collection / donation.
