Current V5 present. Paperwork includes a Lotus Service Notes, an Owner's Handbook, V11 tax reminders, MOT certificates, previous V5s, a promotional brochure, and various invoices.

The vendor has provided the following:

  • Black paint & cream leather
  • Still wearing the original Goodyear NCT tires it was delivered with
  • Very low mileage, MOTs to corroborate this
  • Great opportunity for either a collector to add to a portfolio or for someone to own & use what must be one of the nicest out there
  • First registered 11/10/89 but believed to have been kept in the showroom by the Lotus dealer, consequently, it didn't have its first MOT until 1988 when the odometer reading is 73 miles!
  • The car is then used sparingly, showing maybe a thousand or sometimes just a few hundred miles between MOTs until around 2004 when its next owner uses the car a little more frequently until 2008 when I purchased it with mileage at approximately 15,000.
  • It was last used in 2018, and in those ten years, I have put 5,000 miles on the car, so the current reading is a little over 20,000, and has been dry stored in a temperature-controlled workshop.
  • I am a lady owner, and the car has been very lightly used. There are all the MOT certificates to show proof of the very low miles.
  • The car still has its original Goodyear tires fitted that it was delivered with, the spare has never been touched, the jack is still in its original bag, and the tie at the end has never been undone.

There is a copy of Classic Car Buyer with an article about this very car when they borrowed it for the day for a drive and photo shoot.

The handbook is signed by Colin Spooner, the Design Director at Lotus Cars.

I hope it finds a new owner who will enjoy it.
