The vendor has provided the following:
The car has been garaged most of its life.
The registration listed will be sold with the vehicle.
Every car has its story and ours has too.
4 months ago my husband, Stephen, was diagnosed with a rare terminal cancer, in debilitating pain, could not sit, walk or stand and thought he’d never enjoy his passion of driving ever again.
The decision to sell our beloved Z3 did not come easy.
The Bangers and Cash series kept my husband going through many dark days and worse nights.
In recent weeks a miracle has occurred. After gruelling radiotherapy treatment, love, prayer, care and determination, Stephen is now pain free and able to drive again.
We always wanted to visit Mathewsons, and that’s how we came to bringing the Z3 to yourselves.
She really is a “Bonny” car, a delight to drive.
Stephen made his first long drive in over a year from Plymouth to Pickering without incident, me driving up separately in our other “sensible” car.
Sadly, our dreams of keeping the Z3 till she is a classic and taking her to shows is no longer a reality.
Our focus has had to change.
To the new owner we can only say, we hope you will love her as much as we have, and thank you to Bangers and Cash for a wonderful series and giving us rare glimpses into other people’s car stories
