The vehicles registration mark is transferrable.
It had a nut and bolt restoration 2010/2011 engine rebuild, it is a 1098 engine, fitted with electronic ignition, new carburettor, gearbox was converted by John Evans from Hayling Island, 1098 with 803 gearstick conversion, upper body is constructed of oak as copy of corn merchants coach built body used in the 50’s to carry four corn bags that weighed 140 lbs each to give 5 cwt payload, the board containing number plate was removable and with ripples in the end of the chassis legs the body was extendable to carry bales of hay or straw, to deliver to local small farmers.
No carpets were fitted after restoration to allow spectators at shows to view the quality of restoration to the vehicle before carpets covered it.
The vehicle has been in storage since before Covid, it needs light recommissioning was running and driving sweetly till someone appeared to try and remove the dynamo, on the day of collection the vehicle would not start, when Derek visited to value the vehicles he witnessed it running and driving earlier in the year, only selling to reduce my vehicle collection due to ongoing health problems.
