Paperwork includes a large box containing previous V5s, buff logs books, MOT certificates, V11 tax reminders, valuation certificates, an MG Guarantee plate, Vintage Sports-Car Club Eligibility documents, printed photographs of the vehicle, various scrutineer stamps, Club competition records from 2007 to 2015, printed instruction manual, and an old tax disc.
The vendor has provided the following:
1930 MG 'M' type specifications:
- Phoenix fully balanced crankshaft
- Cosworth pistons and rods
- Oversize inlet valves
- Moss Gearbox - 4 speed, Close Ratio
- Full race camshaft
- New 4.50 x 19 tyres
Awards won at Vintage Sports-Car Club events:
- Harewood Speed Hill Climb Class Record 2008
- Prescott Speeh Hill Climb 2010
- Curborough Speed Trial 2011
The MG was first registered in 1988 - whereas it was actually 1930 when it was first registered. However in 1988, when it was brought back from New Zealand, it was
re-registered.
Full competitiion history with Vintage Sports-Car Club
Original Manual, full history of preparation for competition, good amount of engine abd chassis spares, fully rebuilt by owner following retirement from competition. V5 in place ready to tax and car is ready to compete again.
Will rev quite happily to 5,500 rpm
