The vendor has supplied the following:

The TFS was produced as the Greeves trials model for 1965 and was the last of the line of famous 'Scottish' trial models.

24TFS 151 was supplied new on 15th November 1964 to the well-known London dealer and rider Monty Banks (12-14 Vallance Rd, London E1), the Greeves would have had a London registration number, now sadly lost. All old London Council vehicle registration records were destroyed many years ago and further enquiries have proved fruitless. Nothing more is known about the early history of the machine.

The Greeves was purchased by the present owner in 1986 from Mr. David Nind of Stamford, South Lincolnshire in a very dilapidated condition. The only history David was able to supply was that he had bought the Greeves in Derbyshire a short time before.

A certain amount of work was necessary at the time, 1936/1987, to make a runner and the Greeves was then ridden in Midland Classic and South Yorkshire per-65 trials for several years.

Since then the machine has slowly been restored to standard trim as time and resources allowed.

The registration number RCA 146B now on the Greeves is an age-related number, supplied by DVLA.
