The last image has been provided by the vendor showing what the car looked like before being stripped.

This car is a south African 1966 230s Mercedes.

I bought the car from a wedding car business which was closing in Wales in 2017. I have had it kept in a garage since. The car is a rare rust free example in the Uk. The car was originally maroon and gold and was sprayed off white (badly) by the wedding car business. The painting had moisture bloom bubbles so I started restoration work on the paint during lock down but then realised it needs a full respray so just stripped it. The car is complete, every nut bolt and screw is boxed and mostly labelled in the boot.

The engine was in good running order and in covid it had a full service and tune up. The receipt for this is in the file. The only known mechanical fault is a leak on the rear dif and the exhaust needs a new rubber hanger on the rear section.
