Current V5 present. Paperwork includes a practical classics magazine which includes a 5-page spread on the vehicle, an exhibitor pass from a classic motor show, owner's manual, previous vehicle registration documents, MOT certifcates, DVLA correspondence, and printed photographs of the vehicle.
The vendor has supplied the following:
Full stainless steel exhaust, new starter motor, new battery, hood and interior has been made by an ex-employee of Roots, One of nine cars from a private, long-term collection owned by a retired engineer. This Rapier Convertible was discovered by the vendor in a lock-up in 1989 where it had been stored for many years. It had had just one recorded owner until that time. The vendor undertook a comprehensive restoration and during in the 1990's, it was shown at Owners Club shows. It appears that in 1996 it was voted Car of the Day by members of the Owners club.
Overdrive works on the 3rd and 4th gear.
