Completely recommissioned by French Classics, in Kent. Exceptionally low mileage. Has full hydro-pneumatic suspension, power brakes and Diravi steering, and, just like the Citroen SM, comes with lhd. Factory extras include electric front windows and wind deflectors on the front doors. I have fitted a modern DAB radio (original radio cassette comes as well), treated the underside with "Lanoguard" and sourced new blue overmats.
Interior is very clean and comfortable. I had the wheels refurbished and they are immaculate. Several original stickers on the car/under the bonnet. Brightwork is excellent. The car comes with 2 sets of keys, (including the glove box key) a cover and a file of info including some documentation from France. One of the attractions, for me, was that there is no electronic ignition, or fuel injection, both systems can cause problems on older CX's. Carburettor and points means easier maintenance! This is, of course a Series 1 so has the rotating drum instruments! Even the fuel economy lights work, though sadly, the clock is only right twice a day! My first drive was from Kent to Northumberland, it never missed a beat and hasn't since!
