Current V5 present. Paperwork includes a buff log book, two MOT certificates, correspondence from the Local Vehicle Licensing Office, and some invoices for parts and work.
The vendor has provided the following:
I bought the bike in 1974. In 1974 it had the big/small ends renewed, cylinders re-bored, new valve springs, stainless steel exhaust pipes fitted etc. Also the speedometer was replaced, so the mileage is not known. In 1977, while in good running order, it was taken off the road. I had read in the LE Owners Club magazine that when LEs are stored the clutch plates tend to stick and the way to avoid it is to tie the clutch lever back towards the handlebars. I followed the advice but the clutch plates just became stuck in this open position. They will need to be freed to put the bike back on the road.
