1974 Ford Granada XL 3000 Auto Estate. This car had covered 11,000 miles when I purchased it in 1977 and has now reached 75,000 miles. The Granada has spent most of its life in the garage, venturing out only on high days and holidays. She is rust free, having been Ziebart treated from new. The timing wheel and oil pump drive were replaced at 55,000 miles. Perished valves and seals replaced at 70,000 miles, restoring oil consumption. Always serviced at 2000 miles intervals. The brakes have recently been overhauled comprising of: Reconditioned callipers, rear wheel cylinders, all flexible hoses and copper pipe to rear brakes. New exhaust system.
