As the present owner i have knowledge of the bike from new when my good friend Mike bought it new in 1981,he put a custom paint job on it back in the day,and i have restored it to its original livery of red.
It comes with an original accessory rack, fitted, and panniers, the panniers need a coat of paint,
The bike has many new parts is currently mot,d,and rides very well, new parts include,
New headstock bearings
New wheel bearings f and r
New twin exhaust system
Brakes have all been cleaned, new seals fitted, new rear master cylinder, pads and braided hoses as an upgrade.
The engine has done nearly 37000 mls and is original and runs well, due to it standing for a while, it probably needs a good run,it has a new set of plugs fitted and run with E5 fuel,it does not like E10.
The front forks have had new seals fitted,
New chain and sprockets fitted,
The rear shocks were replaced with original showa upgrades that i was lucky to get hold of,
It still has the original tool kit and honda tyre pressure gauge.
It also comes with some second hand spares, ie,
Front and rear discs
Starter motor
And other bits and pieces
A Haynes Workshop Manual, and other paraphanalia.
It just leaves me to wish the new owner much enjoyment from the old 900 as it has become known in our circle.
