Current V5 present. No paperwork.

The vendor has supplied the following information:

The car was used in the recent ITV production "The Long Shadow". It was a character car in Episode 4, being used as a taxi by the suspect who was a taxi driver. It can be seen during the first half of Episode 4 on numerous occasions.

1979 Ford Cortina mk4 2.3s registered as historic tax and mot exempt. Just three previous
keepers.

The 2.3S is the rarest of Ford Cortina’s in the UK now, possibly just 2 survivors.
Owned by the vendor for around 15 years and subject to a full restoration from 2015 to
2017.

Many parts replaced with original Ford NOS items.
The engine and gearbox were fully overhauled.
The original candy stripe interior that would have been fitted back in the day was replaced
at some point in the life of the car, with recaro seats from a mk5 Cortina. This interior is a
rare item itself these days.

The car was placed into heated storage when the restoration was finished in 2017 and
unused since other than to move it around the storage facility. The car would probably
require a once over following such a period of standing.
