Current V5 present. Paperwork includes an Owner's Handbook, MOT certificates, old tax discs, a Motorcycle Dating Service printout, various fitting instructions, various spare parts information, and some invoices for parts and work.

The vendor has provided the following:

Built September 1971.

Spent 18 months on display in Triumph Factory Reception Hall and also on Triumph show stand at Earls Court and Milan shows

First registered for the road in 1973 by Triumph and sold through Birmingham Triumph main dealer. Registration number JOJ 752L.

When 'Road Tax Exemption' was bought in for pre 1972 cars and motorcycles, the appropriate dating information was obtained from Triumph factory records to certify that this bike was built in September 1971. The bike was then issued with the appropriate 1971 Birmingham registration EOG 366K.

Only three previous owners, the last owned the bike in 1979, over 44 years of ownership.

Extensive rebuild (as detailed elsewhere) around 2000 miles ago.

  • MORGO 750cc Conversion
  • Carillo conrods
  • E3134 inlet and exhaust camshafts
  • Compression lowered for unleaded fuel (thick head gasket)
  • Heads gas flowed and unleaded seats fitted
  • MORGO oil pump and gauge
  • Double roller bearings on crankshaft
  • Paper oil filter conversion
  • Boyer Bransden electronic ignition
  • 3 Phase Alternator
  • Five speed gearbox conversion
  • Twin front disc brake conversion
  • Frame stripped, blasted and stove enamelled in black
  • Rebuilt swinging arm with new bearings
  • New steering headset bearings
  • New wheels built stainless steel rims and stainless steel spokes
  • New Dunlop Roadmaster TT100 tyres
  • Hagon shock absorbers
