Horse Drawn Funeral Carriage
If this doesn't excite the Goths out there then I don't know what will !!
Believed to be late 19th Century Czechoslovakian - with Duvera being Czech for belief/faith - the wheel hubs bearing the mark of Rybak, Smichov (a district of Prague) and the axle stamped with the manufacturer Leopold Lienhart, Wolfsberg, Karnten.
To be honest, its origin is probably irrelevant to most people - you either love its amazing workmanship - the four heavenly carved angels gracing the corners of the carriage, ensuring your last journey on earth to be a spectacle to behold. Or you hate it!
Complete with black, fringed drapes - in its day it surely must have looked extraordinary!
