1962 Ford Consul 375

SOLD £4469

The roof profile on the  Consul was lowered in 1959, known as  the Mk2 version, which also had redesigned rear lights and much of the external bright work in stainless steel. Fitted with front disc brakes and with vacuum servo appearing as an option in 1960 although made standard in 1961.. The name became the Consul 375 in mid-1961.

This Consul 375  is supplied with a nice history folder in which are many previously issued MOT certificates, the oldest being dated 1987, an original '375' instruction booklet and a Shell service record dated February 1970.

The folder also contains a large number of service and parts invoices together with previously issued logbooks.

Records held with HPi give the car a clean bill of health and indicate just 5 former keepers.

The car drove well on a trip into the village.

We are awaiting financial instruction.

These will follow shortly.

Thank you.

The MOT has expired.
