1954 Bentley R Type

Current V5 present, showing 3 former keepers. Large binder of paperwork includes old V5s, MOT certificates, details of work carried out and invoices.

The vendor has provided the following:

I have owned the car since the end of 2004, it was fully restored in 1991.

Complete set of both small and large tools. Kept MOT'd during my ownership until this year. MOT ran out in November.

Seatbelts were fitted to front and rear by Bentley specialist. Working sunroof, semaphores and clock. Radio works when it warms up. Lead free conversion carried out in 2008. Head gasket changes at same time. Major service carried out in 2011 by Ristes of Nottingham, including extra work at a cost of £5536.

First keeper was Lord Hugh Kindersley, 2nd Baron Kindersley who was Chairman of Rolls Royce Limited from 1956 to 1968. I have enclosed a photograph of him sent to me by the Rolls Royce Enthusiast Club from their archive.

In the file is Car Build History and chassis card details, also from RREC archive.

We highly recommend that you view in person any potential purchase and take time to inspect paperwork and make any relevant enquiries.
