1973 Rover 3500S P6

Finished in white with excellent original tan leather upholstery and contrasting vinyl roof. Fitted with correct wheel trims, period music. Owned by the vendor since 2015 with few owners since new. The history folder includes receipts, MOT history and the original book pack which includes the Passport to Service booklet etc. Also included is an original showroom sales brochure. On its arrival, a short test drive revealed no major faults. Now MOT exempt and free road tax. Sensibly reserved.

The vendor has also kindly supplied the following information:

Offered for sale as roadworthy and in running order, this scarce model with manual transmission is presented in 'Huntsman' livery of Arctic white, brown vinyl roof and bronze leather interior. The vehicle has several early years history from its first registration 1.Aug.1973, a 'Passport to Service' booklet and spare keys. The history file recommences from the late '90s and a Heritage certificate is present. The correct mileage is 95684. A replacement speedo has been fitted this year

Since my ownership in 2015, considerable expenditure has been undertaken in all areas except the engine itself which shows correct oil pressure and exudes the sweet sounds and performance expected of a V8. The radiator, distributor, alternator, fuel tank, shocks, four new tyres, o/side de Dion arm, brake and suspension, fluids, and many other parts have been replaced, the carbs overhauled and the front seats have been professionally reupholstered. There are also new number plates, 'Desmo' wing mirrors, front and interior lenses fitted recently. All recent bills are therefore present from J.R. Wadham and engineer Don Haworth, as is a memory stick with c.30 images from Trident Autobodies of Lytham St. Annes detailing £5000 of new steel floor pan replacement and other welding. I have also included a detailed handwritten log of every activity undertaken since July 2015.

I must now reluctantly part with her and hope the next owner will enjoy her and continue the restoration of this rare vehicle to a high standard, perhaps attending to the body panels, paint, interior detailing, trim and electrical upgrades where necessary.

Please note that descriptions are produced from information provided by the vendors. We highly recommend that you view in person any potential purchase and take time to inspect paperwork.
