The vendor has kindly supplied the following information:

Six owners in 72 years, owned 10 years and has always been garaged, used on summer days and classic car shows. Original buff log book showing in 1969 the owner was Lancelot Lionel Ware OBE (5 June 1915 - 15 August 2000) was an English barrister and biochemist. He is best known as the co-founder of Mensa. MOT until September 2021. The car was totally rebuilt 28 years ago with body off, photos included in history file along with factory build sheet. The interior was retrimmed in beige leather and red carpets. The car was repainted again 12 years ago in original maroon. A stainless steel petrol tank was fitted and steering box rebuilt. Driven to Pickering from York.
